Flapple evolves from Applin.
Flapple has a catch rate of 45 out of 255, which makes it tricky to catch. In the Tall Grass Club meadow, better balls improve your odds.
In the Tall Grass Club catching game, Flapple is rarely seen in the wild. The best way to get one is to evolve Applin with a Leaf Stone. Applin lives in the Meadow.
Flapple isn't found in the wild in the main games listed in PokeAPI. Most trainers get it by evolving Applin.
Flapple is weak to Flying, Poison, Bug, Ice, Dragon and Fairy moves, so Pokémon of those types are your best bet.

These are the attacks Flapple learns by levelling up in the newest games, which are the same moves it learns in Tall Grass Club. Its first moves are Wing Attack, Twister and Astonish.
